In a move familiar to Hindi filmgoers, the film''s alternate title is simply <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">LXG</span>.<br /><br />The story, set in a sci-fi world parallel to the Victorian era, is the penultimate summer flick, packed with action sequences, a booming soundtrack and loads of special effects. Connery heads the cast, supported by Peta Wilson, Shane West, Stuart Townsend and Tony Curran. <br /><br />The story, based on a hit comic book series by Alan Moore, finds Allan Quartermain (Connery) and five fantastical characters, including Captain Nemo (Shah), battling a momentous war machine that threatens the safety of the entire world.<br /><br />"Nemo is the technological heart of the <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Extraordinary Gentlemen</span>," reads a promo.<br /><br />"A true enemy to oppression, Nemo has waged a war against war itself. Often considered a pirate by those who have heard of his attacks on Imperialist British ships, Nemo is in fact a freedom fighter, dedicated to bringing down the British Empire and pushing them out of his native country, India."<br /><br /><span style="" font-style:="" italic="">LXG</span> was shot largely in Prague, and was budgeted at $78 million. The trailer is in theatres now.</div> </div>
